What is the best word to describe Shimoda?: Shimoda is a very nice town, easy to live in a mild climate. There are mountains as well as many beautiful beaches. A rural town, it is said, but I think that's also a good point.　My favorite event in Shimoda is the 'traditional summer festival' !　Please come and visit the soulful summer festival in Shimoda.
