Comment

Shimoda is a city rich in nature, with the sea and the mountains. In Sea Craft, we decorate photo frames, barettes and magnets with glass pieces and shells found on the sea shore, using glue gun. We'll be absorbed in collecting shells and glasses which never have the same shape or color, by the sea. Some guests would make Sea Craft, talking with each other, while others look much devoted to make masterpieces. Try Sea Craft to make your souvenier at Shimoda.

My recommendations

How delicious! Best restaurants to enjoy local specialties of Shimoda
Gorosaya, Japanese sea food, is so popular even among local people.. It's sometimes not easy to make reservation. Not to mention boiled alfonsino, sashimis and all a la cartes with seafoods are delicious.
Superb view spots of Shimoda recommended by local guides
Nesugata Yama, Mt. laying lady. The ropeway takes you to the summit after 3 minutes. From the view point, you may have the distant view of Izu Seven Islands over Shimoda Port, on a fine day.
The most favorite spot in the ocean of Shimoda and what makes the spot so special
Kujippama Beach. You must walk down the slope for 6 ~ 7 minutes from the parking lot. It looks an attractive private beach. The water color is brilliant and the sand is awfully white and beautiful.
Beautiful glasses found on the sea shore
Shells found on the sea shore
Make Sea Craft, a souvenier of the trip
