Outline of the program

Our clubhouse is at Sotoura beach. You follow the guide rowing kayak to one of the best points for snorkeling.  We proceed toward the Pacific Ocean and kayak around small islands. Enjoy snorkeling together with colorful fish, when you arrive shallow water behind the island. After playing under the water, get on the kayak and return to Sotoura Coast. Our kayak is high quality SOTK type for 2 passengers (3, if a primary school student is in the middle) with high stability and safety. Even beginners can be satisfied and enjoy it.  The course is designed for beginners, but such that you can savor the real pleasure of being at sea.

In spring and Autumn, We recommend you, 'Sports Kayaking' to go across rough water or ride the wave.

Program schedule

Morning and Afternoon (2 courses) 9:30 (reception) 10:00 - 12:00 (experience) or 13: 00 (reception) 13: 30 - 15: 30 (experience ) . About 2,5 hours for safety instruction and kayaking. Having completed reception in the clubhouse, we will explain about facilities such as parking lot, changing room, shower, toilet etc. Next, we will show you the course guide video. We are ready to go to the sea ! We will give you a short lesson near the beach, so that participants can enjoy safely in the condition of the day. Finally, we step forward to the Ocean !

Required items to bring

Bath towels and swimsuits. After enjoying kayaking & snorkeling, you can take a hot shower. Prepare the sun protection by yourself. (sunglasses, hats, long-sleeved synthetic fiber shirts and pants, sunscreen lotion, etc.) There is a vending machine in front of the clubhouse for drinks.

Precautions ⁄ remarks

According to the rules of the ACA (American Canoe Association), all of us in KAI'TO are participating in instructor liability insurance. Whoever needs to add up arbitrary insurance, prepare it in advance by yourself. Riding with a pet, drinking alcohol and drugs (narcotics, stimulants, drugs) are prohibited.

Adults (junior high school students and above) : 7,500yen/person (tax included) / Child (elementary school student) : 4,500yen (tax included) / (Rental) Snorkel set : 500 yen. / Infants can not join. An elementary school student under 9 must be accompanied by 2 adults.
