Outline of the program

Enjoy a tasting of one of four varieties of Kaikoku Shimoda Black Tea, including Perry Tea (straight), and one selected Japanese black tea from around Japan. We will brew the tea you prefer. Enjoy sweets (made with local ingredients) as well. Take the tasting cup as a souvenir. We will also talk about Japanese black tea, including the hardships that led to the cultivation of Yabukita tea and the birth of Shimoda Black Tea. Enjoy a relaxing time as you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Shimoda Port.

Other popular items include the Rakura Sandwich (three types of sandwiches, including alfonsino ham), and the black tea braised pork sandwich plate. Enjoy them with the unpasteurized sake "Reimei" made with locally grown rice, or undersea aged whiskey.
