I had been a sailor for 42 years and retired in March, 2017. I yearned for Shimoda wherever I go and Shimoda was the home port for my last ship. I have been absorbed in making rope works since I started my second life here in Shimoda.

Comment

I have opened a workshop to teach everyone about rope work which I learned as my hobby. I will teach you from simple way to somewhat difficult way in various practical knots. Especially my recommendation is a coaster with a variety of shapes and different sizes. If you try, it is fun to make. You can also make Misangas and dragonflies.
