多くの専門職員によって引き継がれてきた研究の積み重ねが概観できる -
漁業･水産業の実践的研究機関。2019年新庁舎が落成(敷地2,795㎡) -
ずっしりした重量の日本最初の水中写真機 -
近海に自生する最大級のワカメなど海洋生物の標本･写真を展示 -
伊豆分場を中心に、南伊豆の広い海域での調査等も余念なく -
漁業者と連携し、フィールドワークも欠かせない (分場からの太平洋の風景)
