Outline of the program

Authentic Marchant House, known with familiar name, Saichu, built 170 years ago and registered as the 1st Town Treasure of Shimoda. The rental use of the whole Saichu House as the photo location. You are authentically dressed up in traditional kimono and let the professional photographer take pictures, while you pose freely inside the House.

Program schedule

Stop at 'Chula,' Rental kimono and body care shop, to choose kimono and make yourself worn in it, by the expert staff (1 hour) ⇒ Move to Saichu House on foot, about 5 min. ⇒ Brief tour inside Saichu (15 min.) ⇒ The photographer tries to take pictures, while you took favorite poses at 2 ～3 chosen spots (30 min.). Afterword you feel free to keep the kimono on and walk around, until 'Chula' closes.
